Saiu a lista dos indicados ao “VMA 2017” tendo Kendrick Lamar, Katy Perry e The Weeknd liderando as indicações

A MTV dos EUA divulgou nesta terça-feira (25), exclusivamente através de lives no Instagram (inovaram total), a lista dos indicados ao “Video Music Awards 2017″. O rapper Kendrick Lamar é o campeão de indicações, aparecendo em 8 categorias, sendo a maior parte delas por “Humble”. Katy Perry e The Weeknd vieram logo atrás, empatados com cinco nomeações cada.

Como já haviam feito no “MTV Movie & TV Awards” este ano, o canal não distinguiu os gêneros nas categorias. Assim, não teremos mais aquela coisa de “Melhor Artista Feminino” e “Melhor Artista Masculino”. Será apenas “Artista do Ano”! Que aliás, nessa se enfrentarão: Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd e Lorde. Só Feras!

Outra mudança da edição foi a inclusão da categoria “Melhor Luta Contra o Sistema” para celebrar os videoclipes que inspiraram os espectadores a se posicionarem contra injustiças. Uma das surpresas da lista é a cantora canadense Alessia Cara, com quatro indicações, incluindo “clipe do ano” e "luta contra o sistema" por "Scars to your beautiful"

Na principal categoria da premiação, “Clipe do Ano”, concorrem Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars, Alessia Cara, DJ Khaled e The Weeknd, que aliás achei injusto Perry não está nessa e na nova categoria. Os vencedores de cada categoria serão anunciados no dia 27 de agosto diretamente da cerimonia no ‘The Forum’, em Inglewood, Califórnia. A MTV Brasil transmitirá a cerimônia ao vivo a partir das 21h.
